Jorgensen Albums - Stylish Versatile and Chic by Conor Kinchella Stewart Photography

Pro and Studio Collection Albums

[gallery columns="2"]

We use Jorgensen albums as our premium album supplier. The quality, attention to detail and pure craftmanship involved in the making of each album is astounding. The design is simple and can be customised in so many ways, all mats can be designed and cut from scratch and this is invaluable when you are working with clients to fit in as much as is possible. We do however, say that less is more in an album, let the photographs speak for themselves.

The album shots above are from an actual client wedding. They will get the album this week and I am sure that they will be delighted with the final product, just as all clients are who choose this supplier.

Jorgensen choose the photographers they wish to work with and in this regard I am delighted to be able to stock this fine product.

From the archives - a (recent) photo a week by Conor Kinchella Stewart Photography

D300s with 50mm 1.4 D lens, f1.4  1/40, ISO 200.

It is amazing what one may find at the bottom of their thrash drawer upon cleaning out the larger thrash,.......came across the above beer bottle tops and batteries at the base.  Just loved the random positioning of all the items in this photograph, an assemble of rubbish atop a newspaper used to absorb liquid, and furthermore protect the base of the drawer. Some Camera RAW adjustments with saturation, temp, contrast and presto, a piece of (branded) art!.

Workman's Club First Art Party - 25th October 2010 by Conor Kinchella Stewart Photography

[slideshow] I had the pleasure of photographing the first Art Party in the Workman's Club for "Ready Fire Aim", on the bank holiday Monday just gone. Such a breath of fresh air it was, nestled between the busy weekend and a more mundane Tuesday to go. Living in the now always helps to shelter from expectations and inevitable let downs, so what better than supporting the arts and new ventures such as Art Parties. It was a success, the crowd were up for the eclectic mix of talent which enthralled all punters for over three hours - and all for a fiver. I will be back and so will they......what will they come up with next?. A big thanks to Aoife Courtney for asking me to do the photographic honours.

"Ready Fire Aim presents ART PARTY at The Workman's Club. A evening of great art, great chat, great tunes, great cocktails. Our first night took place on Bank Holiday Monday - the 25th of October with a great lineup of artists.

Peter Murphy read from his novel John the Revealator along with live musical accompaniment bringing the dark atmosphere of the book to life.

'Her Mother's Daughters' featured as a dance film choreographed by Cindy Cummings and directed by Oonagh Carney. It was commissioned by RTE this year as part of Dance on the Box.

Paola Catizone,  a visual artist painted and sketched in the venue, capturing the night in pencil and paint.

The Lennon Family Project sang and played songs from their recently released 'Regarding the Absence of Things' EP.

There was gorgeous tango danced by Michael Cooney.

And tunes on the decks by the indomitable Vinnie Vegas."

Keep checking in as there are more dates and great acts to be announced!.

***This art party is a chance to see some great art, hang out with your friends, drink the gorgeous €6 cocktails and party until the last moments of another bank holiday. Only €5 on the door, and more fun than you can shake a stick at.... READY FIRE AIM putting the ART back into pARTy***.
