Time to show another recently handed over (real client) wedding album of Frank and Sara's wedding this year. Below you will find the 25 x 35 cm version of this album with two parent books and eight keeps sakes (or pocket book copies). Michael and Milena June 2011 Wedding / August 12, 2011 by Conor Kinchella Stewart Photography

Back to updating my blog re recent weddings and Michael and Milena's was no exception, ie, apart for the windy day it was. The blessing was a brief affair in the Marine Hotel, Sutton and post ceremony we let the lovely couple relax for a wee while before venturing into the windy wilds. Apart from the healthy breeze it was a relatively warm day and we had some real fun on the beach and in the long garden behind the venue. Thanks to Milena for removing her shoes and working with us as we snapped some fab photos of the along the beach......you can tell that they really had a ball. Due to the wind the hotel decided to have the buffet and barbecue inside which did not phase the guests or the married couple. It is amazing how much ground you can cover (photographically) when you work quickly and sharply and from top to tail all photos were captured in the space of a couple of hours. We wish Michael and Milena the very best for their future.

Lynsey and Gavin Engagement Shoot - Lifestyle Photography / July 18, 2011 by Conor Kinchella Stewart Photography

We decided in June to undertake Lynsey and Gavin's engagement shoot in Malahide Castle which is located just north of Dublin city. Thankfully the weather was great, warm and a tad windy but comfortable all the same. Malahide castle provides a great backdrop for photos when it is not too busy but as this was a Sunday..... well, you know what to expect with crowds and distractions so after a brief spell we decided to move to the beach and capture some lifestyle photos there. Malahide strand was fab to shoot on, plenty of interest from the red/yellow lifeguard hut to the rusting beach separating poles stretching out into the sea. My aim as always on an engagement shoot is to get the couple to relax in front of the camera well before their wedding (which is is in August this year), and also to give them some lifestyle photos that they can use for their wedding invites, etc. I try to change what is expected in a shoot and work with each couple to get relaxed non posed photos, shots they would like on their wall and which depicts how they really are. We all had a bit of fun and the photos really captured both Lynsey and Gavin as naturally as possible. A month to go until their wedding and I am really looking forward to shooting this particular wedding.
